Nuclear fire
SOFIA (AP) - The second electrical fire in 12 hours broke out at Bulgaria's trouble-plagued Kozlodui nuclear plant yesterday, but it was quickly put out and did no serious damage.
The BTA news agency said a short circuit caused a small fire in a section of the Unit 5 1,000- megawatt reactor. A similar fire was reported late on Tuesday at Unit 6, which is also a 1,000-megawatt reactor.
