Welcomed with thunderous cheers, President Barack Obama told a European audience today that he is setting a dramatic goal of "a world without nuclear weapons."

Secondly, Obama is not telling the rest of the world to get rid of their weapons, but stating the rather obvious fact that mutual disarmament would be the most productive way forward.
Thirdly, the rest of your post is incoherent nonsense. The only logical inference I can make from your ranting is that you actually seem to be keen on a nuclear exchange. Well, no matter how much I might disagree with America's foreign policy over the years, I'll take that over lunatics like you any time.
It gives me hope that not all americans are like Bush & Rise & people with your visions should take the lead in placing the US back on the world map as a great, peaceful & supporter & upholder of human rights & justice.
Based on what I saw from abuse in Guantanmo, Iraqi prisoners & Gaza I think that America image was tarnished & in the mud & if you intend to reverse this situation then you have a very hard work ahead of you & you must start asap.
Don't get me wrong, nuke disarmament is a good thing whatever the motivation, but taking into consideration the history of the US's actions, I'm watching it with a cynical eye. I simply do not believe that the entire nation changes with one man, I have a pretty long memory and America has run roughshod over the planet for decades with zero consequences Under Bush it was like some big, retarded and malevolent bully in the playground, beating everyone up and stealing their lunch. Now, in the distance, it can see that a bigger guy has just been born and it's worried and saying, "You know, I don't think guns are such a great idea".
I cannot just forget America's recent history, see Obama's smile and think everything is alright again. The US, certainly under the Bush family, has made a lot of enemies throughout the world.
I hope I am wrong. I hope that this truly is an international turning point for all the right reasons.
In one of Mr Obama speeches, he told the American public,America will Lead the World, in what way?
After the WWII, the USA were shouting out "We are policing the World", by chemical warfare, killing innocent people and children, odd way in policing?

Does he include Israel in the equation? Oh, they don't actually have any, do they?
They wouldn't have to disarm because they are surrounded by such nasty neighbours and they are the only democracy in the region and are playing a very important role in keeping those scary Muslims at bay!

If i were a pessimist, i would see this as the US attempting to remove, worldwide, the only means many nations have to draw level to the US in militaristic terms. Essentially rebalancing power, establishing the US firmly back on top.

I forgot israel's the U.S. Protected terrorist state that refuses to abide by international law or humanitarian rights, the state that created the largest concentration camp the world has ever seen. By forcing Palestinians off of their land and bulldozing their homes and their farms.
A country that behaves like this that owns nuclear weapons is a threat to the world and peace to the Middle East. Shouldn't countries like this be a priority along with Pakistan and India?
Let's take their nuclear weapons away and I bet they stop killing women and children and start behaving in a civilized manner if only left with conventional forces to protect their failed state.
