Rabin attacks US
The Israeli Prime Minister, Yitzhak Rabin, in an attack on US peace efforts, accused Washington of bowing to Palestinian demands, Reuter reports from Tel Aviv.
Mr Rabin assailed new proposals put forward by the United States. 'The Palestinians attacked the first paper. The fact that the Americans responded and changed even here and there - as a matter of principle we could not and we will not tolerate such a development,' Mr Rabin said.
