Serbia urged to turn Karadzic over to UN
Banja Luka - International envoys urged Serbia to turn Radovan Karadzic over to a UN war crimes court as the Bosnian Serb prime minister Rajko Kasagic branded him an "illegitimate president" leading his people to ruin. The attack reinforced a head of international pressure building up for the swift extradition of Dr Karazdic to the court which has indicted him twice.
Germany's Foreign Minister, Klaus Kinkel, and NATO's Secretary General, Javier Solana, separately met the Serbian President, Slobodan Milosevic, in Belgrade to demand the surrender of the Bosnian Serb war leader. Reuter
