'Sex slaves' protest
Seoul (AFP) - About 40 protesters, including South Korean women forced to serve as sex slaves for Japanese troops during the Second World War, stormed the National Museum of Modern Art and shattered showcases containing Japanese art works yestreday. In Manila, a group of Filipino 'comfort women' picketed the Japanese embassy, denouncing a financial package announced by Tokyo this week for countries that suffered during Japan's wartime occupation.
