The Somali faction headed by Mohamed Farah Aideed said it planned to set up an interim government in Somalia before the end of March, in a veiled ultimatum to the UN peace-keeping force there to leave. Some 220 US troops were shipped out of Mogadishu yesterday in an evacuation of Washington's remaining UN peace-keeping contingent, AFP reports.
