South Africa to decide about next year's elections
SOUTH Africans will vote together for the first time next April if multi-party negotiations today confirm a tentative agreement between the ANC and the government, a parliamentary deputy said yesterday, Reuter reports from Cape Town. Some sources say the three-day election will start on 18 April, others 28 April. 'Today is the crunch day,' a source close to the talks said. 'If things go well in today's talks I think we could see a date percolating up . . . . '
