HOUSTON (AFP) - The crew of the shuttle Endeavour took time out to teach students in classrooms across the United States on Friday. Endeavour carried more than 30 toys into space, including mechanical frogs and paper aeroplanes, so that the astronauts could make videos demonstrating the laws of physics and aerodynamics. Using several spinning tops, Don McMonagle explained the principles of the gyroscope, while Greg Harbaugh tossed a weightless basketball towards a hoop.
