Two men from the Sudanese UN mission planned to help alleged conspirators blow up the UN headquarters in New York, the ABC television programme Nightline said. Sudan's UN mission yesterday denied any connection to a conspiracy, Reuter reports from New York.

Nightline also said Sheikh Omar Abdel-Rahman, the exiled radical cleric, was believed to have discussed targets with eight Muslim fundamentalists arrested for allegedly planning to bomb UN headquarters.
