Togo poison row

Togo's government and the main opposition, which boycotted this week's presidential elections, accused each other of killing 15 militants in a central village, Reuter reports from Lome.

The government said 15 opposition militants died in prison on Thursday after eating poisoned food delivered by supporters of the opposition Committee for Renewal (CAR). But the opposition blamed security forces.
