Georgian troops and Abkhazian separatist forces were withdrawing troops and exchanging prisoners of war yesterday as officials supervising a ceasefire accord said both sides would fulfill their obligations, AFP reports from Moscow. The disengagement of some 20,000 troops from both sides, if it continued as planned, would mark an end to hostilities that broke out a year ago and killed more than 1,200 people.
