Aherd of elephants which killed four people and terrified thousands in West Bengal state has turned back towards its forest home on the borders of the states of West Bengal and Bihar, Reuter reports from New Delhi. It was finally turned back after police fired in the air to disperse spectators impeding efforts to drive the beasts back home.
