Wine-maker dies

Julio Gallo, co-founder of one of California's biggest wineries, was killed on Sunday when his jeep left the road and plunged down a 30-ft embankment on a family ranch, Reuter reports from San Francisco. Together with his brother Ernest, Julio ran the Gallo winery, which has about a quarter of the US wine market.
