Yeltsin denounces 'plots'

President Boris Yeltsin denounced reports of plots against him, saying they represented efforts by unspecified political figures to oust him at all cost, Reuter reports from Moscow. Mr Yeltsin also suggested that rumours of his ill- health formed part of these attempts to destabilise the country. 'If we call things by their proper name we are talking of overthrowing the president at any price,' he said.
