A RARE plants fair is being held in London next Thursday (11am-7pm) at Battersea Town Hall, Lavender Hill, SW11. It is the brainchild of Derry Watkins, who runs a specialist nursery at Upper Wraxall, near Bath. More than 30 small nurseries will be at the fair. Look out for Corydalis flexuosa, recently reintroduced from China, and a pretty double lobelia, common in Victorian times, but only just saved from extinction. Admission is pounds 3.
