Gardening Cuttings: Palace people pick up the petals
HISTORIC Royal Palaces, the agency which manages Hampton Court Palace, has accepted the Royal Horticultural Society's offer to run next year's flower show, which has lain in limbo since British Rail's Network SouthEast withdrew its financial support.
The event, which takes place in early July, has been a huge success since it was launched three years ago. The RHS 'will reinforce the strength and stature of this important event', according to the society's president, Robin Herbert.
