London Design Festival
September 17-25
London, UK

The city's Victoria & Albert Museum and Saint Paul's cathedral will take on leading roles during the event in September: the V&A will welcome visitors with a three-dimensional lattice-work spiral spanning the height of its entrance doors and host various exhibitions, while Saint Paul's will serve as an unusual venue for the festival, with one of the UK's leading architects, John Pawson, planning a display for its geometric staircase in the South West Tower that's normally not open to the public.
