Docklands bargain buy

First-time buyers have snapped up all 41 flats in the first phase of Fairview New Homes' Corn Mill Quay development on the Isle of Dogs. With prices starting at pounds 52,000 for a one-bedroom flat, Corn Mill Quay offered locals and City commuters an affordable foothold in the Docklands market.

Phase two has one-bedroom flats with waterside views for around pounds 65,000 and a small number of town houses from pounds 100,000.
