Moleskine combines the Kindle with the haptic feel of a conventional book for a new cover launched this week.

It seemed that you could only have one at a time: the iPad or a printed magazine, an email or a handwritten letter (even though pilothandwriting.com is trying to change that), a 'real' book or an e-reader. The notebook manufacturer thinks it has the solution to the latter.

Its Kindle cover features classic Moleskine elements, including rounded corners, an elastic band, and a black cover. Inside, the light suede lining echoes the cream-colored pages of its notebooks, while a conventional pad is also included to jot down notes while you're reading.

The cover sells online for $39.99 via amazon.com. A version for the iPad is also in the works.
