The official textile designer of the Olympic Games 2012 will showcase her products for the first time at upcoming UK trade show Grand Designs.

Celebrity designer Jan Constantine was recently appointed two textile-producing licenses by the organizing committee of the London Olympic Games. Her hand-embroidered  Olympic designs will be available for the public to order for the first time at the Grand Designs home exhibition held October 8- 10 in Birmingham, UK. The Jan Constantine Olympic collection will include cushions, throws and wall hangings.

A range of other Olympic 2012-themed household goods including tables, towels and bed linen are available to buy online at http://shop.london2012.com/.

Officially sanctioned Olympic products are popular with both collectors and the general public alike; during the 2008 Beijing Olympic Games the government famously had to restrict the number of games-related products consumers could buy in order to prevent price hikes and stock depletion.
