Some of design's biggest names will be on hand to celebrate the tenth anniversary of Designer's Days, taking place June 9-14 in Paris.
Brands participating in the circuit on the city's right and left banks will include Dyson, Miele, and Alessi as well as the Parsons School of Design. But the most forward-thinking projects are expected to take place at one of the city's most interesting new spaces, the Docks en Seine.
The building, which was completed a year ago, has still not been opened officially and will represent the first opportunity for the public to explore the new complex. (Watch a guided tour of the Docks en Seine at http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=kBPRrNmQJbA.) During the Designer's Days, it will host workshops and exhibitions by upcoming designers.
Leading designers such as Ingo Maurer and Yves Béhar will also be present during the event to discuss the future of their field.
