Barbie and Ken as Don and Betty Draper? Mattel toys' iconic Barbie doll will launch a set of special dolls for the Emmy- and Golden Globe-winning television series, Mad Men, to be released with the next season of the show in July.

With the show set in the 1960s, like Barbie's early years, and at an advertising agency, the partnership is a marketing dream. Accessories include Don's hat, overcoat and briefcase. Also, there is Betty's faux pearl necklace, Joan Holloway's pen necklace; and Roger Sterling's monogrammed shirt.

Made of a porcelain-like material called Silkstone, each doll will be sold at a suggested retail price of $74.95. The licensed line of 7,000 to 10,000 will be available in specialty stores, and online at as well as
