The Independent and Independent on Sunday use many freelance writers in
addition to staff writers, photographers and graphic designers, therefore we

cartoon or graphic.
3. What is the "News Service"?
We send out our "News Service" electronically and in a format of
your choice 364 days a year (there is no newspaper on Christmas day and
therefore no service the prior evening). We have a dedicated Editor who
selects and sends out a selection of relevant news, business, feature,
lifestyle, fashion and sports articles on the night of publication in
London.
4. Who does Syndication sell to?
There is no longer a typical Syndication Client, with requests from such a
vast array of companies, organisations and individuals due to the variety of
content featured in our newspapers on a daily basis that it is very
difficult to pigeonhole the type of client who buys content.
