A slice of the action

THE photograph top right shows a detail of a famous sporting moment. Write and tell us what it is and win a bottle of Veuve Clicquot, champagne of the season.

Entries should be sent on a postcard to Slice of the Action, Sports Department, 40 City Road, London EC1Y 2DB, to reach us by next Monday. The first correct entry opened after that date will win the bottle of bubbly. Last week's winner is Steven Smith, of London SW16.

Mr Smith correctly identified (below) the moment when Billy Bremner and Kevin Keegan were sent off during the Charity Shield match at Wembley in 1974 between Leeds United, the League champions, and Liverpool, the FA Cup winners. Both players threw their shirts down as they walked off the pitch. The match finished in a 1-1 draw, with Liverpool winning on penalties.
