Dave Meggett, the versatile New York Jets running back, has moved to the New England Patriots, rejoining coach Bill Parcells. Meggett has agreed a five-year deal.

Bubby Brister, who played quarterback for two years under coach Rich Kotite with the Philadelphia Eagles, has rejoined him by signing a two- year contract with the New York Jets.
