Gloucestershire's Andrew Symonds, who declined to go on the England A tour of Pakistan, has been named in the Australian Prime Minister's XI to play the West Indies in Canberra on 5 December.

TOUR MATCH (Cairns, Aus, limited overs): Queensland 208, 49.3 overs (M Hayden 53; A M De Silva 2-30); Sri Lanka 162, 45.1 overs (R S Mahanama 58, A P Gurusinha 50; S Law 5-26). Queensland won by 46 runs.
