Germany's former world sprint champion Katrin Krabbe, barred for two years for doping, has married Michael Zimmermann, the lawyer who helped her fight the ban. Krabbe, 24, the 100 and 200 metres gold medallist at the 1991 Tokyo world championships, was banned by the International Amateur Athletic Federation until August 1995 after admitting taking the banned drug clenbuterol.
