He could be reprimanded, fined, or both for his outburst on the eve of Eubank's successful defence of the World Boxing Organisation super-middleweight title against Henry Wharton two months ago. Duff, who looks after Wharton, also branded the champion "lowest of the low" during the fighters' final head-to-head meeting in Manchester.

The Ulsterman Eamonn Loughran's World Boxing Organisation welterweight title defence against the Scottish-born South African Gary Murray has been brought forward to 8 April.
