Weather blights Pakistan's progress

Heavy fog and poor light dampened Pakistan's hopes of squaring the series against Zimbabwe on the third day of the Second Test in Lahore yesterday. Only 13 overs could be bowled during a day blighted by fog in the morning and bad light later in the day, with Pakistan moving from 184 for 5 overnight to 211 without further loss When the umpires offered light to the Pakistani batsmen one over before tea, Yousaf Youhanna, who resumed his innings at 30, was on 46, while Moin Khan had added another six runs to his overnight 18. Pakistan, trailing 1-0 in the three-Test series, now have a first- innings lead of 28 runs.
