Flintoff's praise for Vaughan team spirit
"The spirit has come together over the past two and a half years or so, since Michael has taken over," Flintoff said yesterday. "Just arriving here this morning I can already see it is pretty much where it was when I was last with the team. The new lads seem to have fitted in well. In some ways a trip like this enhances the spirit, because you spend all your time together in each other's pockets.
"I have been out here three times before and there are passages of play here where you can take wickets, and you have to identify them quickly. There will be other times where you need to sit in - as you do with the bat - and others where you can attack and go for the stumps.
"The Ashes were fantastic, and winning them was the highlight of my career to date. But playing in Pakistan holds new challenges."
