Australia off-spinner Nathan Lyon took five wickets in the final session to end West Indies' fightback on day three of the second Test in Port of Spain.

Lyon finished another rain-affected day with first-innings figures of 5 for 68 as he almost single-handedly reduced the hosts from 230 for 4 to 252 for 9 at the close, 59 runs behind. Up until Lyon's contribution, the day had belonged to Shivnarine Chanderpaul, who made 94 to lead the home side's recovery.
