Tillakaratne Dilshan and Upul Tharanga hit centuries in a World Cup record opening stand and powered Sri Lanka into the quarterfinals with a 139-run win over Zimbabwe today.

Dilshan scored 144 and Tharanga made 133 to raise a 282-run stand off 269 balls which lifted Sri Lanka's total to 327-6 in the Group A match.

Dilshan then grabbed 4-4 with his off-spinners and Zimbabwe was bowled out for 188 despite a valiant 80 by opening batsman Brendan Taylor.

Sri Lanka have seven points from five group matches and will finish among the top four. Zimbabwe have two points after three losses and a win.
