Mark Crowley, Hampstead and Westminster's medical student, followed up two successive hat-tricks with six goals on Saturday as his side thrashed Maidenhead 10-1 to maintain top place in the Nastro Azzurro South Premier, writes Bill Colwill.

Crowley failed to get on the scoresheet the next day as Hampstead, in a repeat fixture, beat the Berkshire club, 3-0, to move into the third round of the HA Cup and the stage of the competition when the National League teams join in.

Hampstead have been drawn at home to Jersey in the next round, for which the Channel Islanders will again have to dig deep into their coffers for the privilege. In only two all-Premiership ties, Teddington and Havant clash at Chiswick and Southgate host Barford, whom they crushed 7-1 on Sunday.
