Bob Crutchley, with yet another hat-trick taking his season's tally of goals to 28, led Cannock to a 4-2 win against Guildford and they go into the Christmas break with a four-point lead over East Grinstead in the Premier Division.

Doncaster, with a 6-2 home win against Hull, took advantage of Beeston's game with Stourport on Saturday being frozen off to go three points clear at the top of the First Division.

Cannock, with their captain, Kalbir Takher, back after suspension, were quickly into their stride, Crutchley collecting his first goal in the fourth minute. Rob Bilsland replied within a minute before goals either side of the interval from Crutchley put Cannock in control. Simon Organ completed the scoring for Cannock before Ian Jennings pulled another back for Guildford.

Robin Benford went one better for Doncaster in scoring four field goals. It took Doncaster's seasonal total past the half-century mark and maintained their unbeaten record.

Surbiton took the points with a 3-2 win in a fiercely contested relegation battle at Havant. After Havant had dominated the early exchanges, the visitors took the lead in the 30th minute, Gareth Notton grabbing the first of his two goals. With Havant committed to attack, gaps opened in their defence and Notton made the most of his chances. David Main made it 3-0 before Havant could open their account.
