Disgraced cyclist Lance Armstrong has hit a new low after he appeared in a video online demonstrating how to change a bicycle tyre.
Wearing a cap and apron, the drugs-cheat introduces himself before going on to change the punctured tyre.
“I’m Lance Armstrong, seven times winner of the Tour de France,” says Armstrong, before joking “Hey, I didn’t write the script.”
The American finally admitted that he used performance enhancing drugs to claim his seven Tour de France victories between 1999 and 2005, which he has since been stripped of following the scandal in January 2013.
The 42-year-old outraged cycling officials last year when he claimed it is impossible to win the Tour de France without doping. His words came on the eve of the 2013 Tour, which was won by Great Britain’s Chris Froome.
In an interview with French newspaper Le Monde, Armstrong said: “The Tour de France? Impossible to win it without dope.
“I didn’t invent doping. It didn’t stop with me, either.”
He would later backtrack on his comments in claiming that he was talking about his own time competing, saying: “Today? I have no idea (if Tour de France winners are on performance enhancing drugs). I’m hopeful it is possible.”
Regardless, it appears the wheels have finally fallen off for Armstrong.
