Tour of Spain: Helicopter rides back to hotel 'unfair,' says Alejandro Valverde
Spain's Alejandro Valverde thinks riders who fly back to their hotels by helicopter in the Tour of Spain have an unfair advantage.
On today's rest day, Valverde said: "It's not the same getting to your hotel in half an hour in a helicopter as taking nearly three hours in a bus. That's a big difference."
Chris Froome and Sir Bradley Wiggins will lead a strong Britain squad for the UCI Road World Championships in Italy later this month.
