Flakey Dove is grounded

Flakey Dove was yesterday ruled out of a handicap hurdle at Cheltenham tomorrow by a minor foot injury. Richard Price, her trainer, said: "Flakey Dove has a slightly bruised heel. It is nothing serious but she will be a non-runner on Saturday. The injuryis better this morning than it was yesterday so, hopefully, she will not be out of action for long."

Flakey Dove was set to carry 12st at Cheltenham. Now, the weights will rise by 14lb with Mysilv the new top-weight on 11st 10lb.
