Boncho Genchev, the former Ipswich Town striker, has joined Luton Town on a free transfer.

Wimbledon hope to sign the Leyton Orient goalkeeper Paul Heald today. They have offered pounds 250,000, while Orient want pounds 1m. The fee is expected to be settled by tribunal.

The Brazilian World Cup star Marcio Santos has been signed by European Cup winners Ajax from Fiorentina.
