Manchester United will visit Norwich City on 4 November in a testimonial for the Canaries' goalkeeper, Bryan Gunn.

Ron Reid has been named manager of England's semi-professional team by the Football Association. The 50-year-old former Stafford Rangers and Boston United manager has stepped up from assistant manager - a role he filled for eight years under Tony Jennings, now in charge of the Icis League club, Carshalton Athletic.
