GORDON DURIE was rushed to hospital last night after collapsing during Rangers' 1-1 draw at Kilmarnock.

Durie collided with Kilmarnock's Gary Holt as they went for the ball on the edge of Rangers' penalty area in the 48th minute. Both seemed fine but in the 53rd minute Durie collapsed. He was tended by medical staff before being taken to Glasgow's Southern General Hospital which specialises in brain surgery.

Durie had come on in the first half to replace Paul Gascoigne, who was also expected to visit hospital for an X-ray examination after hurting his leg in a challenge.
