Roma's four home wins out of four include an amazing, nine-man, 2-1 victory over Fiorentina, the Italian league leaders, and an emphatic 4-0 victory over Udinese, who snatched a late equaliser to deprive Juventus of all three points in Udine last week. The excellent Marco Delvecchio, whose goal knocked Leeds out of the Uefa Cup, and Francesco Totti will lead the line for Roma.
Juventus are in poor shape. They will also be without the striker Alessandro Del Piero, out with knee ligament damage, the playmaker Zinedine Zidane, who limped off after 20 minutes on Wednesday in Juventus' Italian Cup draw at Venezia, the midfielder Didier Deschamps and Nicola Amoruso. Juve may be forced to repeat Wednesday's experiment of using the defenders Ciro Ferrara and Igor Tudor in attack. They will also be without Marcello Lippi, their coach, who is banned from the touchline for yelling at the referee at the end of last Sunday's game.
Other games tomorrow: Empoli v Cagliari, Internazionale v Sampdoria, Parma v Udinese, Piacenza v Fiorentina, Salernitana v Perugia, Venezia v Lazio, Vicenza v Bologna, Tomorrow night: Bari v Milan.Reuse content
