Football: Juventus slip leaves United on brink
Juventus' 2-0 defeat by Feyenoord in Rotterdam in the Champions' League last night means that Manchester United need just one more point from their two remaining Group B matches to be certain of qualifying for the knock-out stages of the the competition.
Juventus' Alessandro Del Piero will be suspended from his side's game with United in Turin on 10 December, having been booked in the 35th minute of last night's game in Rotterdam.
Thierry Henry scored his second goal two minutes into injury time as Monaco came back from two goals down to beat Sporting Lisbon 3-2 in Group F.
Paris Saint-Germain also left it late to secure a 1-0 victory over IFK Gothenburg in Sweden. Eric Rabesandratana scored the only goal of the match to keep the French side in second place in Group E. They trail Germany's Bayern Munich, who secured a comfortable 2-0 victory away to Besiktas, with first-half goals by Carsten Jancker and Thomas Helmer.
