An overweight but still skilful Diego Maradona made yet another comeback as the Rest of the World XI recovered from 2-0 down to beat Europe 4-3 in a benefit game for Jean-Marc Bosman in Barcelona on Sunday. Only 2,000 fans were present in the Olympic stadium to watch the former Argentinian World Cup captain, who recently announced his return to club football with Boca Juniors.

The Celtic director Willie Haughey has resigned from the board of the Glasgow club.
