Football: Steven 'not going to Everton'

TREVOR STEVEN'S return to Everton was on the brink of collapse last night, despite reports that he would join Ian Durrant and Duncan Ferguson in moves from Rangers to Merseyside.

Steven has not featured in a competitive game for Rangers this season, and has recently been recovering from a calf operation. Everton, bottom of the Premiership, need immediate help and it seems that only Durrant and Ferguson will move, Ferguson on loan.
