Blackburn v Aston Villa

Shearer should be reunited with Sutton in Blackburn's strike force. Central defender Gale also hopes to be back. Villa's Fashanu (shoulder) is expected to recover and Richardson, Houghton and Staunton could also return.

Coventry v Southampton

Coventry, buoyed by Dublin's arrival, remain unchanged. Southampton midfielder Heaney (Achilles tendon) is hoping to be fit, though new signing Ekelund stands by. Defender Monkou has been added to the squad.

Crystal Palace v Chelsea

Welsh international centre back Coleman (knee) has recovered and is named in an unchanged Crystal Palace squad. Chelsea must decide whether to recall Spackman or stick with replacement Newton. Otherwise Hoddle's side should be unchanged.

Everton v Leicester

Everton's Holmes replaces full-back Jackson. Ablett's return threatens centre backs Watson and Unsworth. Leicester revert to the side who beat Spurs a week ago. On-loan winger Carr is recalled in place of Agnew.

Ipswich v Manchester Utd

Uruguayan striker Paz has a tough debut for Ipswich, who have striker Marshall fit, but are without Stockwell. Champions United could give Keane his Premiership this season. Walsh continues for Schmeichel (thigh) as Giggs, Cantona and Ince return.

Manchester City v Norwich

Quinn returns for Manchester City. Captain Curle, Phelan and Flitcroft are in the 18-strong squad. Norwich striker Sheron faces his former club less than a month after his departure. Newman, Crook and Bowen are expected to be included.

Newcastle v Liverpool

Cole (sore shins) starts for Newcastle despite missing training and Belgian defender Albert (hamstring) is also fit. Venison is doubtful. Liverpool's Scales is preferred to defender Babb, who stays on the bench, in an unchanged side.

QPR v Wimbledon

Midfielders Holloway (virus) and Sinclair (groin) face late tests for Rangers. Depleted Wimbledon have call up three youth players, midfielder Piper, defender Hodges and striker Euell.

Tottenham v Nottm Forest

Romanian signing Popescu makes his Premiership debut for Spurs. Mabbutt and Hazard are in line for their first league starts with Nethercott, Calderwood and Barmby missing out. Forest right back Lyttle (foot) is expected to recover, pointing the way to an unchanged side.

TOMORROW

West Ham v Arsenal

West Ham's Chapman is included as replacement for Cottee, who is suspended. Butler is also back and midfielder Holmes could return at the expense of winger Rush. Arsenal defender Bould could replace Keown after thigh trouble and Winterburn is likely to start. Schwarz and Jensen remain doubtful.
