Matt Le Tissier is expected to recover from hamstring and calf injuries, while Latvian striker Marians Pahars is available to play after being granted permission to join up late for international duty next week. Mark Hughes has a back injury, while David Hughes faces a fitness test on a knee problem. David Hirst and John Beresford could both figure after scoring for the reserves in midweek, but goalkeeper Paul Jones and defender Richard Dryden will miss the remainder of the season with back and knee injuries.
