Alvaro Morata run: Juventus forward sets up Juan Cuadrado goal against Bayern Munich with incredible run

The Spaniard's contribution was so good it should have been his name on the scoresheet

It was Juan Cuadrado's name on the scoresheet for Juventus' second goal during the Champions League Round of 16 second-leg tie against Bayern Munich, but the goal belonged to Alvaro Morata.

The player who was so pivotal in the Italian team's run to last season's final was instrumental in the 28th minute goal that put Juventus 4-2 ahead on aggregate.

The former Real Madrid player picked the ball up deep in his own half and began to charge towards the other end of the pitch.

He first held off the pressure David Alaba and then skipped past the challenge of Medhi Benatia. Advancing into Bayern Munich's half at the Allianz Arena he then skipped past Joshua Kimmich at which point he drew Arturo Vidal towards him, leaving Cuadrado ummarked. Such was Morata's awareness he picked out the former Chelsea player who showed enough ability to give the run the finish it deserved by striking the ball into the back of the net.

Bayern Munich levelled the tie at 2-2 on the night and 4-4 on aggregate taking the match to extra-time.
