Live Updates

Welcome to The Independent's live coverage of tonight's Champions League coverage between Arsenal and Ludogorets, brought to you from the Emirates Stadium.

Team news is in for Arsenal...

Team news...
So Wenger finally makes some changes, and it's not all the ones we were expecting.
David Ospina starts in goal to continue his European duties, while Kieran Gibbs comes into the defence to replace Nacho Monreal who joins Petr Cech on the substitutes’ bench.
Granit Xhaka also drops out of the starting line-up, despite being banned for the weekend visit of Middlesbrough after his red card at the weekend, so Francis Coquelin comes into midfield to partner Santi Cazorla.
Arsenal’s in-form trio of Alexis Sanchez, Mesut Özil and Theo Walcott all start despite the belief that Lucas perez may be given a run out, and Alex Iwobi is dropped to the bench to make space for Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain, who is deployed on the left wing.
South American Samba...
There's a real South American feel here tonight, and I don't mean David Ospina and Alexis Sanchez. Ludogorets boast three Brazilians in their starting line-up in the form of Natanael, Cafu and Wanderson, with an Argentinian thrown in for good measure in the form of Palomino.
And as if that wasn't enough, there's another three Brazilians on the bench. here's how their team breaks down:
4 Bulgarians
3 Brazilians
1 Romanian
1 Dutchman
1 Argentinian
1 Madagascan (yes, Madagascan. Keep an eye out for Anicet Abel)
The lights come up and the clock begins to count down, and after a little delay in the tunnel, the two teams emerge to a still filling up stadium.
A sold out Ludogorets section quickly burst into song, with many choosing to shine their iPhone torches in unison. It's certainly a change from the Basel flares... minutes away from kick off.
1 mins: Arsenal kick-off and the match is underway with Arsenal attacking the Clock End!
2 mins: Ludogorets bring early pressure through Cafu, and after he forces Koscielny into an early save, he links up with Abel to bring a timely interception from Coquelin inside the Arsenal area. A slow start from the Gunners.
12 mins: Sorry for the lack of updates there, but thankfully the technical gremlins cleared just in time for Arsenal to take the lead. After a wave of Arsenal attacks that brought efforts from both Walcott and Oxlade-Chamberlain, the Gunners broke free again and the ball was played in to Alexis Sanchez on the edge of the area. Cutting inside onto his right foot and spotting goalkeeper Stoyanov off his line, he chipped the ball over his head and into the back of the net. 1-0.
18 mins: The warning signs are there for Arsenal, and they're all coming down the channel of Gibbs at the moment. Wanderson breaks up the right flank and spots the chance to shoot from an angle. He fires it straight at Ospina, who palms the ball away firmly.
22 mins: Sanchez breaks from deep again to try run away from the defence. He forces Palomino into a foul that gives Cazrola the chance to fire the ball into the area from 40 yards, but he only succeeds in sending it straight to Stoyanov. The goalkeeper bizarrely chooses to punch it clear, but he clears the danger nonetheless.
23 mins: Ludogorets break quickly and this time it's Cafu who's up the right flank. He again gets on the outside of Gibbs and past him, but he's forced wide enough that he can't round Ospina and the Colombian makes the save.
28 mins: Drama for Arsenal. The ball breaks behind the Arsenal defence and Mustafi tries to head it back to Ospina. It's a weak header and the goalkeeper has Cafu bearing down on him. He dives to his right and the ball goes through his arms and ricochets off his head to safety. the Brazilian follows after and claims a penalty, but the referee correctly waves play on.
29 mins: Arsenal are on the attack quickly afterwards and Özil plays in Oxlade-Chamberlain. he can either take the goalkeeper on or square it to Walcott who's free int he middle and has a tap-in. He chooses the later, yet hits the ball far too hard in front of his England teammate and the chance is wasted. Oxlade-Chamberlain knows that was a glaring error, and the fans make sure he feels their wrath.
