Ribery has not been at his best this season and Bayern have struggled

Manchester United, Chelsea and Manchester City are monitoring developments at Bayern Munich after reports today suggested the Germans are ready to cash in on Franck Ribery.

The French star is allegedly unhappy at the Allianz Arena and would like a move away from the club, while the Bundesliga giants have been disappointed with the 26-year-old's return from injury.

It is a stark change from the situation in the summer when Bayern refused to let their star asset leave the club, even hinting that £80m would not be enough to tempt them to sell.

Now it's reported that they would accept as little as £30m for the winger.

The reports go on to say that Bayern have already offered Ribery to Manchester City, Real Madrid and Barcelona.

I really do hope ribery and lahm do get to move away from yes a massive club but one wich is run by people who are happy to have money in the banks and are not ready to help these 2 world class players achieve greatness, i would love to see ribery at chelsea so that we sell deco in january and play him either on the left or in front of the diamond really.

Lahm would be a good signing for teams like real madrid and man city who must be now realizing just how bad wayne bridge is,an overrated one footed useless player, who doesn't know how to defend and seems to think running forward like an headless chicken makes you a good winback.

Real madrid would do well with these players as both lahm and ribery would make their attack and defence that much more potent but also solid defensively really,i remember thinking that ribery and not kaka should have been bought, kaka seems so cautious in his play now days like someone that has been scarred by his injuries 2 years ago and his pace has definitely decreased wich is what made him so good - Ribery on the other hand doesn't get flustered very quickly and is a fighter, amazing pace, trickery and good passer and crosser of the ball, a move to real madrid would at last help him show people just how good he is.

I didn't realize it was the job of clubs like Bayern to "help... world class players achieve greatness", I thought the players were there to help the club!

Bayern's gamble has clearly backfired. Ribery has "lost a yard" or so it appears and the team is creaking. It could change after the winter break, of course, or Ribery could end up with a sympathetic French manager. Wenger has resurrected the careers of many European "cast-offs" - Bergkamp, Viera, van Bronckhorst, Henry and Overmars were all supposed to have gone over the top when they arrived at Highbury.

All in all, given the state of Ronaldo's fitness, Real Madrid is probably the next stop although whether they can afford a second, expensive but crocked winger is open to question.

Where did you even get that idea?
There is not even the smallest hint from Bayern Munich that they have any ambition to let Ribéry go.
Furthermore, there were no words from anyone and certainly not from Ribéry that he's unhappy and what is "disappointed with his return from injury" supposed to mean? He is injured right now and won't be playing for another 4 weeks, so.. What should they be disappointed about?
