AC Milan owner Silvio Berlusconi has quashed talks of a possible sale of the club.
Reports in Italy claimed Russian gas company Gazprom was considering a 30% stake in Berlusconi's holding company Fininvest, which owns Milan.
Berlusconi said today on Italian TV channel Canale 5: "Will I sell Milan? I don't understand this question, considering I am responsible for making history at this club.
"I have taken Milan to win more trophies than Real Madrid.
"Milan is the team that has won the most trophies in the history of football and I am the president that has won the most.
"Second to me is (legendary Real Madrid president Santiago) Bernabeu, who had a stadium named after him.
"He (Bernabeu) won half the trophies that I have won.
"I have made many sacrifices for Milan."
